Over the past two decades, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and their applications have been the topic of many studies. WSN is a network that collects, processes, and distributes wireless data to the intended database storage center. Applications of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been growing at a rapid rate over the past couple of decades.
Also, wireless sensor networks (WSN) will play a fundamental role in the future Internet of Things (IoT), with millions of devices actively exchanging confidential information with one another in a multi-hop manner. IoT is a new emerging technology domain connecting all objects through the Internet for remote sensing and control.
In general, wireless sensor networks represent a new generation of real-time embedded systems with significantly different communication constraints from traditional networked systems.
What is the objective of this course?
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) offer applications that offer comfortable and smart-economic life. They have become more important in agriculture, landslide detection, production, energy, health monitoring, industrial automation, etc., as networks decrease cost, time, and effort and increase productivity. Wireless sensor networks provide the basis for new computing paradigms that challenge many classical approaches to developing distributed and networking systems. This course mainly covers Bluetooth system architecture, stack and application profiles, RFCOMM, GAP, GATT, SDP, Wi-Fi, network architecture, and WPA firmware.
This course also gives a detailed understanding of GSM architecture, RFID, NFC, GPS, etc.
